Rekha sworn in as Rajya Sabha member

Veteran actressRekha who ruled the silver screenwith her charisma in 80’s took oath asRajya Sabhamember in the parliament on Tuesday. As usual, Rekha looked elegant in saree. Rekha sworn in before the members and the chair person.

Few days back, President Pratibha Patil approved Rekha and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s name for the Upper House of the Parliament.

57-year-old Rekha worked in many hit films and has many awards under her credit.

Ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is expected to take the oath on Wednesday. The terms of both Rekha and Sachin as Rajya Sabha members will began on April 27.
