Elon Musk did not have a home before this, but now he does. He paid $37.5 million for a house and then sold it again.

Musk sold some homes before. He sold one in LA for $29 million to a Chinese person.

Tesla CEO and tech billionaire Elon Musk said that he was selling all of his stuff last year. He wanted to pay attention to building houses on Mars. But then he changed his mind because the only thing left was a house.

In June, Musk said that he had sold all of his houses except for the one house he had in California. He used to rent it out for events.

On June 14, 2021, Musk took to Twitter and told the world that he would sell his last house. He said that he would sell it to a large family who could live there. It is a special place.

The tweet read that the person's house is for a large family who will live there. They want someone to buy it because it is special.

According to a website called ‘Zillow’, Elon Musk had put this home on sale for $37.5 million on June 13. The post was taken down later, on September 11.

This is a rare chance to buy 47 acres of land. This land is between Silicon Valley and San Francisco, 8 miles away from an airport. It's also near the jet centre.

This old house is 100-years-old. It has views of the Bay and hiking trails. There is a pool and a professional kitchen that was preserved but updated. The house also has a 3-car garage as well as 8 car spaces for parking.

There are some other things that Musk has for sale. They are his McLaren, a Tesla Roadster, an old Ferrari and two Boring Company helmets. All of these items will appear on the Artcurial auction in 2020.

People make fun of Elon Musk quite often because he does not seem to be organized.

This house has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It also has a basement with about 16,000 square feet of living space. The building is 105 years old and was originally owned by Christian de Guigne IV who sold it to Elon Musk for about $23 million in 2017.

Even though the house only spent a little time on the market, it showed that he wanted to sell his belongings. It also shows that he said in May 2020, "I am selling almost all my physical possessions. I won't have a house."

When he tweeted, he replied back on that same thread. He said there was a stipulation to the sale of the house. The tweet read: "Just one stipulation on sale: I own Gene Wilder’s old house. It cannot be torn down or lose any its soul."

This is about Musk's plan to colonize Mars. He wants to spend as much money as possible on this.

He told the same thing in an interview with the CEO of his company's parent company. He has already sold off several other homes, including ones in L.A., like a $29 million mansion that was grabbed by a Chinese billionaire and a $7 million home that once belonged to Gene Wilder, the actor.

Conclusion

Elon Musk sold his $37.5 million house, but then he changed his mind. He probably should have checked with Gene Wilder for any rules before selling the home that belonged to him.
