Necessary in some cases. Connecting itself was very simple. Child can do it. If not, the description is very clear.
Sound quality surprised me a bit. You have to set the sub and bar, but the sound is also very good in relation to the price you pay. You can use different settings for eg movies or listening to music. Bluetooth pairing is quick and easy. Transmission is good and far reaching. In short, I am very satisfied with this set and I can certainly recommend it if you want a nice sound for a nice price.
What a wonderful sound comes from this soundbar. Recommended in a small study for background music as well as in the living room. The bass is abundantly present due to the passive (no power required) subwoofer. The other tones are also well represented by this soundbar. The soundbar is perfect for listening to music, but it also works well during movies.
On top of that, the automatic switching on when you connect via bluetooth, or one of the other inputs and then switching it off when the soundbar has not been used for some time is very nice. The remote control is therefore almost redundant, and this works very well.
Furthermore, a wall bracket is included with which the soundbar can easily be hung on the wall. All in all, this has been a super buy for both me and my girlfriend.
A really great piece of kit with superb sound. Netflix, Switch and Xbox zone all sound great.Sound volume does go from normal to tinny on occasions when playing footage from a Virgin V6 box in surround mode. Switching to stereo sorted this issue. Looking online this seems to be a V6 issue and not a fault of the sound bar.
Integration with Samsung TVs is first rate. Your Samsung TV (if a compatible model) controller can also change the volume on the sound bar meaning it’s one less controller to faff with.The sound bar also has sound delay options, so discs or footage with out of sync audio can be resolved.
Bluetooth connectivity is also excellent. I now use the sound bar to stream audio from my phone.Small & compact so 'not in your face' stand out, but really powerful.

Bought this soundbar because of the bad sound from my television. Unfortunately, my TV turned out to have no output for such an optical cable with which the soundbar also turns on automatically. Now linked to the headphone output, but then you have to turn it on separately (it will turn off automatically after a while). Design is beautiful, device is user-friendly.
I am very happy with the purchase of the Samsung soundbar. for in principle little money you have beautiful sound. I bought the soundbar together with a TV and bought an optical cable. Connecting was a breeze and it worked almost immediately. Connecting Bluetooth was a snap. The sound was clear and the soundbar can be quite loud in the living room.
This is a soundbar with a nice sound, an addition to your TV. Connect via BT or with a cable. Many sound settings available to be able to choose your favorite and this can be adjusted with the help of an equalizer (bass / mid / high). Good sound for little money and it also looks nice, such a soundbar in front of or under your TV.
The soundbar was easy to install. Make sure you don't buy an optical cable that is too small. Because the sound of the new Samsung TV was a bit less, we bought this affordable soundbar. The TV remote synchronized automatically. Only when the TV is turned off, the soundbar does not turn off automatically.
Super device for this price! Especially the effect with films and music is fantastic, but also excellent for watching TV programs (no annoying subwoofer sound). If you are planning to buy it because we listen to all music via the TV, which makes a stereo tower completely unnecessary.
